Is it harmful to a dog’s health to keep their crate in the same room as the cat’s litter box?

My upcoming living situation will require me to keep the dog in the same room as the litter box. Other than the smell, will it affect the dog in any way healthwise?

   As long as they’re not TOO close, it should be fine.

   For the dog to be crated there but for the humans too.

   The room is the litter one doesnt need to inhale then too who wants to be sitting in crate next to be okay but it is spacious it is spacious it will be okay but.
